Getting Ready

Three weeks with the grandkids and I'm still not crazy.....Well, Sara, may disagree with that. However, we are still speaking to one another and the kids still kiss me goodnight. We are having a ball.

First weekend, taught a tennis lesson to James and Ethan, then had a match with Shannon and GUESS WHAT!!!! the Grandma won.

Day to day activities keep us hopping, including music lessons,
school, library, sewing, cooking and co-op farming. The veggies from the farm are really great, don't know what to do with some of the stuff...always we make a good tasting soup. 

Getting ready for Halloween and costumes are coming along. Harry Potter's cloak has never looked as good. Ethan got a new bathrobe (not for Halloween). 

James did a cross country .4 km run for his school.  Arrived in the middle of the pack but that didn't stop him from enjoying the scenery, stopping several times on the way, waiting for his friends.


Weather has been absolutely fabulous with only one day of rain in 21. Still we were glad to see the sun again today.
